9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX NO.1 DUCT

a. Remove the clip and the console box duct No.1.

10. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR

a. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
b. Separate the 2 wire harness clamps.
c. Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor.

NOTICE:  Do not remove the sensor from the bracket.

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT YAW RATE SENSOR

a. Inspect the yaw rate sensor. If any of the following occurs, replace the yaw rate sensor with a new one

-

The surface of the yaw rate sensor is cracked, dented, or chipped off.

-

The connector or wire harness is scratched, cracked, or damaged.

-

The yaw rate sensor has been dropped.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR

a. Install the yaw rate sensor with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.)

NOTICE: 
-

Do not damage the yaw rate sensor.

-

Make sure that the yaw rate sensor is installed securely.

b. Install the 2 wire harness clamps.
c. Connect the yaw rate sensor connector.
