(a) Install the steering shake damper with the 2 screws.
(b) Engage the 2 harness clamps.

5. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE with STEERING SENSOR See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and

Repair/Installation

6. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FSE) See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

7. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (for 1UR-FSE) See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

8. INSTALL STEERING PAD See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation
9. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER

10. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER
11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning.

12. INSPECT STEERING PAD See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation
13. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
