5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
8. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
9. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
10. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the reservoir hose from the water inlet.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts, reservoir and grommet.
11. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
12. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
13. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the air cleaner cap See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal.
(b) Remove the air cleaner element.
(c) Remove the 3 bolts and air cleaner case.
14. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT
15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal
16. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) See: Accessories and Optional
Equipment/Collision Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems/Distance Sensor/Service and Repair/Removal
17. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal
18. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch Release Cable/Service
and Repair/Removal
19. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch Release Cable/Service and
Repair/Removal
20. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Condenser HVAC/Service and
Repair/Removal
21. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector from the cooling fan ECU, and detach the 3 wire harness claws from the fan shroud.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and radiator.
NOTE:
Do not allow the cooler condenser and radiator to come into contact with each other.
