Lexus Workshop Service and Repair Manuals

(a) Install a new gasket to the water inlet housing.
(b) Install a new O-ring to the water outlet pipe.

(c) Install the water inlet with the 4 bolts and nut.

Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

NOTE:
Be careful not to allow the O-ring to get caught between other parts.

(d) Connect the 5 hoses.

11. TIGHTEN COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Compressor HVAC/Service and

Repair/Installation

12. INSTALL DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Compressor HVAC/Service and Repair/Installation
13. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Compressor HVAC/Service and

Repair/Installation

14. INSTALL INJECTOR DRIVER See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Secondary Injector Control Module/Service and

Repair/Installation

15. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation
16. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE COVER

(a) Install the cover with the 3 nuts.
