Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Service and Repair
Removal

2GR-FSE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION See: Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel Injector (for Port Injection)/Removal
2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE See: Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel Injector (for Port Injection)/Removal
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.

4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

16. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE See: Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal
17. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER

(a) Using SST, remove the fuel pressure pulsation damper and 2 gaskets, and disconnect the fuel tube from the fuel pump.
