A760E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE: INSPECTION
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE (SL1)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
(b) Connect the positive (+) lead with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector, and check
operation of the valve.
NOTE:
While using the battery during inspection, do not bring the positive and negative tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may
occur.
OK:
The solenoid makes an operating sound.
2. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE (S1)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
