LIGHTING: HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner
activation.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the bolt, nut and swivel ECU.

Installation

LIGHTING: HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector.
(b) Install the headlight leveling ECU and nut, bolt.

2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Installation
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization procedure See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

5. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Inspect SRS warning light See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.

6. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT

(a) Vehicle preparation for headlight aim adjustment See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Adjustments.
