A760H AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. SEPARATE CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY

Assembly/Removal

4. SEPARATE FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic

5. SUPPORT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Service and

6. SEPARATE ENGINE REAR MOUNTING MEMBER See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/A760H Automatic Transmission/Transmission Assembly/Removal

7. REMOVE NEUTRAL START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Tilt down the transmission.

(b) Disconnect the neutral start switch connector.

(c) Using a screwdriver, unstake the lock washer.
(d) Remove the lock nut and lock washer.

(e) Remove the bolt and neutral start switch assembly.
