(a) Support the differential carrier with a jack.

NOTE:
Do not drop the differential carrier.

(b) Remove the 3 bolts and differential carrier.

NOTICE:
-

Do not damage the installation surface when removing the differential carrier assembly.

-

The remaining oil may leak out when removing the differential carrier assembly.

Installation

DIFFERENTIAL: FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY (for 4WD): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY

(a) Support the differential carrier assembly with a jack. Temporarily install the differential carrier assembly to the engine assembly with the 3

bolts.

(b) Fully tighten the 3 bolts to install the differential carrier assembly.

Torque: 87 Nm (890 kgf-cm, 64 ft-lbf)
