3. REMOVE REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE

(a)

Remove the brake tube with a SST while holding the rear brake flexible hose with a wrench.
SST 09023-00101

NOTICE: 
^

Do not bend or damage the brake tube.

^

Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter rear brake flexible hose with a wrench.

(b) Remove the clip.
(c)

Remove the union bolt, the rear brake flexible hose and gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE

(a)

Connect the rear brake flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
Torque: 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE: Install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder assembly rear

(b) Connect the brake tube to rear brake flexible hose with a SST while holding rear brake flexible hose with a wrench.

SST 09023-00101
Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE: 
^

Do not bend or damage the brake tube.

^

Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting points.

(c)

Install the flexible hose with a new clip.

NOTICE: 
^

When installing the rear brake flexible hose, face the identification mark to the outside of the vehicle and minimize twisting of the hose.

^

Install the clip as it will go.

2. DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL (for 3UZ-FE)
3. ADD RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (for 2GR-FSE)
4. ADD RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (for 3UZ-FE)
5. BLEED BRAKE LINE (for 2GR-FSE)
6. BLEED REAR BRAKE SYSTEM (for 3UZ-FE)
7. INSPECT FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR (for 2GRFSE)
8. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL (for 3UZ-FE)
9. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC (for 2GR-FSE)

10. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC (for 3UZ-FE)
11. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
12. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
