2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2WD)
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 4WD)
4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH
7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
8. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

10. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

(a)

Disconnect the reservoir hose from the water inlet.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts, reservoir and grommet.

11. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
12. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
13. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

(a)

Remove the air cleaner cap.

(b) Remove the air cleaner element.
(c)

Remove the 3 bolts and air cleaner case.

14. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT
15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
16. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
17. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
18. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER
19. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
20. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUBASSEMBLY
21. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a)

Disconnect the connector from the cooling fan ECU, and detach the 3 wire harness claws from the fan shroud.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and radiator.

NOTICE: Do not allow the cooler condenser and radiator to come into contact with each other.
