Applicability

Introduction

Some customers may experience a condition where the trunk will not open electrically. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B2216 may also be present. Use
the following procedure to address customer concerns.

Production Change Information

This TSIB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown, and to all 2006 GS 300 and 2006 - 2007 GS 430
vehicles.

Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first,
from the vehicle's in-service date.
