Introduction

Certain 2004 model year GS 430, LS 430 and SC 430 (3UZ-FE) vehicles may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Code P0133
and/or P0153 in the Engine Control Module (ECM) (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM). The ECM software has been improved to correct this
condition.

2004 model year GS 430, LS 430 and SC 430 vehicles equipped with 3UZ-FE engines produced BEFORE the Productive Change Effective VINs
shown below.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:

This repair is covered under the Lexus Emissions Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 96 months or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the
vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
