TELEPHONE ANTENNA BASE

REPLACEMENT

HINT:  The installation is in the reverse order of the removal However, when there is a special point concerning the installation, it is indicated.

1. REMOVE TELEPHONE ANTENNA ROD

a. Turn the telephone antenna rod counterclockwise as indicated by the arrow mark in the illustration to remove it.

2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSY

3. REMOVE TELEPHONE ANTENNA BASE

a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the protector.
c. Remove the 2 nuts and telephone antenna base.

4. INSTALL TELEPHONE ANTENNA BASE

a. Install the telephone antenna base with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 3 - 9 Nm (31 - 92 kgf.cm, 27 - 80 in.lbf)

b. Connect the connector.
c. Install the protector.
