Steering Angle Sensor: Service and Repair

STEERING SENSOR 

REPLACEMENT 
1. PRECAUTION
2. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE. TERMINAL
3. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
4. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.3 
5. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2
6. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY 

SST 09950-50013 (09951-05010, 09952-05010, 09953-05020, 09954-05021)

8. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER
9. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

10. REMOVE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
11. REMOVE STEERING SENSOR 

a) Remove the steering sensor connector.

b) Remove the 2 claws and remove the steering sensor.
c) Remove the 10 steering sensor terminals from the connector

12. INSTALL STEERING SENSOR

a) Follow the table below to install the 10 steering sensor terminals on the connector
