Torque: 6.9 Nm (70 kgf-cm, 61 inch lbs.) 

c. Using the manual valve lever shaft, fully turn the manual lever shaft back and back off 2 notches. It is now in neutral.
d. Align the neutral basic line with the switch groove, and tighten the adjusting bolt. 

Torque: 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) 

e. Bend the tabs of the lock washer.

HINT:  Bend at least 2 of the lock washer tabs.

5. CONNECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH CONNECTOR
6. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
7. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY
8. ADJUST PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY
9. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION 

10. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION
