Removal

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: CERTIFICATION ECU: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL   See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

12. REMOVE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
