Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation

2AZ-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing it.

(b) Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt.

Torque : 6.5 Nm (66 kgf-cm, 57 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.

4. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

5. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake

6. INSTALL COWL BODY MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT RH   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake
