c) Install the power steering ECU assembly to the battery tray with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.)

d) Install the No.1 battery tray support.

2. INSTALL BATTERY

a) Install the battery.
b) Install the battery insulator.
c) Install the battery clamp with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 2.9 Nm (30 kgf-cm, 26 inch lbs.)

d) Connect the positive (+) battery cable to the battery.

Torque: 5.6 Nm (57 kgf-cm, 50 inch lbs.)

e) Connect the negative (-) battery cable to the battery.

Torque: 5.6 Nm (57 kgf-cm, 50 inch lbs.)

3. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

HINT:  Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.

4. INITIALIZE ROTATION ANGLE SENSOR AND CALIBRATE TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT
