Uniformly loosen and remove the 9 camshaft bearing cap M8 bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration.

4.

Remove the 6 camshaft bearing caps.

LH bank:

1.

Check that the camshafts are in the neutral position shown in the illustration.

2.

Uniformly loosen and remove the 8 camshaft bearing cap M6 bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration.

Keep the camshaft horizontal while loosening the bearing cap bolts.

3.

Uniformly loosen and remove the 8 camshaft bearing cap M8 bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration.

4.

Remove the 5 camshaft bearing caps.
