Keyless Start Antenna: Service and Repair
Removal

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ID CODE BOX: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the instrument panel safety pad assembly    See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Removal.

2. REMOVE LOWER DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY   See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

3. REMOVE ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU)

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the screw and ID code box (immobilizer code ECU).
