(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clamps.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts and sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

Installation

SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: FRONT REMOVABLE ROOF PANEL MOTOR: INSTALLATION

1. APPLY NON-SILICONE GREASE

(a) Apply non-silicone grease to the moving parts of the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

2. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the 2 bolts and sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(b) Engage the 3 clamps

(c) Connect the connector.

6. INSPECT RETRACTABLE HARDTOP SYSTEM   See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
