Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair
Removal
BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Navigation System for HDD)
NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX

3. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT (for Automatic Transmission) See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument
Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
4. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT (for Manual Transmission) See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument
Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
5. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR
(a) Separate the 2 wire harness clamps.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
NOTICE:
Do not remove the sensor from the bracket.
(c) Disconnect the connector.
