Clutch Switch: Service and Repair
Removal

CRUISE CONTROL: CLUTCH SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal    See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Navigation System/Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

8. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY   See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Knee Airbag Assembly (for Driver Side)/Removal

9. REMOVE MAIN BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)

(a) Disconnect the connectors.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts and bolt, and the main body ECU (cowl side junction block LH).

10. REMOVE CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Loosen the nut and remove the clutch switch assembly.
