Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair
Installation

4GR-FSE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the fuel sender gauge with the 5 bolts to the fuel tank.

Torque : 1.5 Nm (15 kgf-cm, 13 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the fuel sender gauge connector.

2. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE

(a) Set the fuel sender gauge to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank. Then slide the sender gauge downward to install it.

3. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP AND GAUGE   See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Removal and

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK   See: Testing and Inspection/Fuel System

6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

(a) Install the service hole cover with new butyl tape.

7. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER   See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Fuel

8. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat
