Fuel Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
Removal

4GR-FSE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

5. DISCONNECT WATER HOSE JOINT   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and

Repair/Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and

Repair/Removal

7. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the connector and clamp.

(b) Remove the fuel pressure sensor and gasket.
