Reassembly

A760E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH

(a) Install the shift lever with the pin and shift lever nut.

(b) Apply MP grease to the hatched area of the shift lever guide housing as indicated in the illustration.

(c) Engage the 2 claws to install the transmission control switch to the shift lever guide housing.

NOTICE:
Securely engage the claws.

(d) Engage the 2 claws and install the shift lever guide housing with the shift lever lock pin and a new shift lever support.
