Seat Belt Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
2. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER
3. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH
4. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH
5. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
7. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE ROPE HOOK
9. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK
11.  REMOVE SIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

12.  REMOVE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

a. Disconnect the connectors.
b. Remove the 3 nuts and remove the seat belt control ECU and the clearance warning ECU as a unit

c. Remove the 2 nuts and seat belt control ECU.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

a. Install the clearance warning ECU to the seat belt control ECU with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

b. Temporarily install the nut A.
