Removal

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING ECU: REMOVAL

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING ECU: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system

NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
3. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH
4. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH
5. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY See: Lighting and Horns/Tail Lamp/Service and Repair/Rear Combination Light Assembly/Removal

6. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER See: Lighting and Horns/Tail Lamp/Service and Repair/Rear Combination

Light Assembly/Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY See: Lighting and Horns/Trunk Lamp/Service and Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE ROPE HOOK See: Lighting and Horns/Tail Lamp/Service and Repair/Rear Combination Light Assembly/Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK See: Lighting and Horns/Tail Lamp/Service and Repair/Rear Combination Light

10. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER See: Lighting and Horns/Tail Lamp/Service and Repair/Rear Combination

13. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/o Pre-collision System)

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 2 nuts and clearance warning ECU.

14. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/ Pre-collision System)
