DOOR / HATCH: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system

NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

6. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and

Repair/Front Passenger Side Knee Airbag Assembly/Removal

7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the luggage compartment door opener main switch.

1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the luggage compartment door opener main switch.
