Installation

2UR-GSE COOLING: WATER PUMP: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL WATER PUMP

(a) Install the water pump and a new gasket with the 9 bolts as shown in the illustration.

A Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
B Torque: 23 Nm (235 kgf-cm, 17 ft-lbf)
C Torque: 47 Nm (479 kgf-cm, 35 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL WATER PUMP PULLEY

(a) Temporarily install the pulley with the 4 bolts.
(b) Using a screwdriver or an equivalent, hold the pulley and tighten the 4 bolts.

Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use to avoid damage.

3. INSTALL WATER INLET HOUSING

(a) Install a new gasket to the water pump.
(b) Install the water inlet housing with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

4. CONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
