Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair
Installation

2UR-GSE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

2UR-GSE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the fuel sender gauge assembly by sliding it downward.

NOTICE: Do not damage the wire harness.

(b) Connect the connector of the fuel sender gauge assembly.

NOTICE: Make sure that the fuel sender gauge arm does not bend.

2. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air

Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Pump/Installation

3. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service and Repair/Installation

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Testing and Inspection

6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service and

Repair/Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service

and Repair/Fuel Pump/Installation

8. INSTALL NO. 3 ROOM PARTITION PAD See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel

Pump/Installation

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly/Installation
