Installation

LIGHTING (INT): GLOVE BOX LIGHT: INSTALLATION

LIGHTING

1. INSTALL GLOVE BOX LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the glove box light assembly.

2. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

Panel/Service and Repair/Installation

3. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and

Repair/Front Passenger Side Knee Airbag Assembly/Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Installation

5. INSTALL SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service

and Repair/Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT:Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and
Repair/Installation.

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair
Instruction - Initialization.

9. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Inspect the SRS warning light See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic
