LIGHTING (EXT): LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

LIGHTING

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP 

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE See: Body and Frame/Locks/Power Locks/Power Door Lock Actuator/Service and

Repair/Luggage Compartment Door Lock/Removal

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE See: Body and Frame/Locks/Power Locks/Power Door Lock

Actuator/Service and Repair/Luggage Compartment Door Lock/Removal

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER 

5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REINFORCEMENT 

6. REMOVE LUGGAGE KEY ELECTRICAL SWITCH 

7. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System) See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Collision

Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems/Rear Vision Camera/Service and Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH See: Tail Lamp/Service and Repair/Rear Light Assembly/Removal

9. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OUTSIDE DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 

11. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the license plate light assembly as shown in the illustration.
