Oil Temperature Sensor For ECM: Service and Repair
Removal

2UR-GSE ENGINE CONTROL: ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

2UR-GSE ENGINE CONTROL: ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the engine oil pressure switch assembly See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Engine Lubrication/Oil Pressure Sender/Service

and Repair/Removal.

2. REMOVE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the temperature sensor connector.

(b) Using SST, remove the temperature sensor and gasket.

SST: 09922-10010

NOTICE:
-

Do not subject the temperature sensor to any impacts.

-

If the sensor is subjected to an impact, replace the temperature sensor with a new one.
