2UR-GSE ENGINE CONTROL: AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR: REMOVAL

2UR-GSE ENGINE CONTROL: AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and

Repair/Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

(a) Remove the engine and transmission See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Removal.

3. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1)

(a) Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
(b) Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold LH.

SST: 09224-00010

4. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1)

(a) Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
(b) Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold RH.

SST: 09224-00010

Installation

2UR-GSE ENGINE CONTROL: AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR: INSTALLATION

2UR-GSE ENGINE CONTROL: AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1)

(a) Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold LH.
