Fuel Pressure Relief Valve: Service and Repair
Installation

2UR-GSE FUEL: FUEL RELIEF VALVE: INSTALLATION

2UR-GSE FUEL: FUEL RELIEF VALVE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket to the fuel relief valve assembly.
(b) Using a 14 mm deep socket wrench, install the fuel relief valve assembly to the No. 2 fuel delivery pipe.

Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
-

Do not apply oil to the threads of the fuel relief valve assembly and No. 2 fuel delivery pipe.

-

Do not allow foreign matter to enter the pipe during installation.

(c) Connect the No. 3 fuel hose.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel Injector (for Direct Injection)/Installation

3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the intake air surge tank assembly See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Installation.

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK See: Testing and Inspection
