Make sure that the pin is securely inserted into the body hole.

Tighten the bolt while holding the rear airbag sensor because the rear airbag sensor pin (stopper) is easily damaged.

(d) Connect the connector to the rear airbag sensor.

NOTICE: When connecting the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(e) Check that there is no looseness in the installation parts of the rear airbag sensor.

3. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Installation

4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly/Installation

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly/Installation

6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH
7. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

9. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Inspect the SRS warning light See: Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnosis System.
