AA80E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SPEED SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic

Transmission/Transaxle/Valve Body/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

3. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Valve Body/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

4. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic

Transmission/Transaxle/Valve Body/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

5. REMOVE VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Valve

6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Valve

7. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NT

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.
(b) Using a T30 ''TORX'' wrench, remove the bolt and speed sensor from the oil pump.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the speed sensor.

8. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NC3

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the transmission case.

9. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR SP2
