STEERING COLUMN: MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU: REMOVAL

STEERING COLUMN: MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY

HINT: Refer to the instructions for Removal of the steering column assembly  See: Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal.

2. REMOVE STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY See: Steering Column/Service and Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

(a) Disconnect the connector from the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

Installation

STEERING COLUMN: MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU: INSTALLATION

STEERING COLUMN: MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

(a) Install the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU with the 2 screws.

Torque: 1.5 Nm (15 kgf-cm, 13 in-lbf)
