Removal

1. REMOVE ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY

2. INSTALL ENGINE HANGERS See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Removal

3. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK
4. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

7. REMOVE NO.1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Manifold/Service

and Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE NO.2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Manifold/Service

and Repair/Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

11. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer bar.

HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.
