4. REMOVE NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR

HINT: Perform the same procedure as the No. 2 differential support protector.

5. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE LH See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber/Service

and Repair/Rear Shock Absorber/Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE RH

HINT: Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

7. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT WITH CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY See: Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and Joints/Drive/Propeller

Shaft/Service and Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT NUT LH See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

9. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT NUT RH

HINT: Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

10. SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH See: Brakes and Traction Control/Parking Brake System/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

11. SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

12. REMOVE REAR DISC (for LH Side) See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Service and Repair/Rear Brake/Removal

13. REMOVE REAR DISC (for RH Side)

HINT: Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

14. SEPARATE REAR SPEED SENSOR LH See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Removal

15. SEPARATE REAR SPEED SENSOR RH

HINT: Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

16. SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and disengage the 2 clamps.
