Rear Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Removal

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Rear Door): REMOVAL

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system

NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL See: Body and

Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Disassembly

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

12. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR

(a) Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T25), remove the 3 screws and the rear power window regulator motor.
