HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

28. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR See: Sensors and Switches/Sensors and Switches - Wiper and Washer Systems/Rain Sensor/Service and

Repair/Removal

29. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR TAPE

(a) Remove the rain sensor tape.

30. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof)

It is not necessary to completely remove the roof headlining assembly. Slightly lower the front section of the roof headlining assembly so that the
windshield glass can be removed  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal.

31. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)

It is not necessary to completely remove the roof headlining assembly. Slightly lower the front section of the roof headlining assembly so that the
windshield glass can be removed  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal.

32. REMOVE WINDSHIELD OUTSIDE MOULDING

(a) Using a knife, cut off the moulding as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
-

Do not damage the vehicle body with the knife.

-

If the vehicle body is damaged, repair the damaged portion by applying an anti-rust coating after removing the windshield glass.

(b) Remove the remaining windshield outside moulding from the windshield glass.

NOTICE: When removing the windshield outside moulding, make a partial cut, and then pull and remove it by hand.
