Rotate the stop light switch counterclockwise until the switch has no contact with the pedal stopper as shown in Fig 3.

Rotate the switch clockwise until the base of the switch makes contact with the pedal stopper as shown in Fig 4.

Rotate the switch counterclockwise one complete turn and check the clearance (A) between stop light switch and pedal stopper as shown in Fig 5.

Clearance (A): 0.5-1.6 mm (0.02-0.06 in.)

Tighten the stop light switch locking nut.

Install the stop light switch connector.

Check that the stop lights come on when the pedal is depressed 5-15 mm (0.20-0.59 in.) from the free position as shown in fig-6.
