Tires - Vehicle Pulls to The Right

VEHICLE ALIGNMENT

To adjust vehicle tracking for pulling to the right, the following production change has been made:

The tread pattern on the Goodyear GA summer tire has been modified to improve residual cornering force.

PART NUMBER INFORMATION:

To order replacement tires, contact your local Goodyear store and order by Goodyear product code number. A list of Goodyear company owned stores is
attached.

REPAIR INFORMATION:

The following repair procedures are applicable for LS400's, built prior to the production change, which have a pulling to the right condition.

Steps

1.

Set all tire pressures to 32 psi (cold).

2.

Test drive vehicle to verify the condition.

3.

Check wheel alignment settings and make adjustments as necessary (see table on next page).

4.

Test drive vehicle to verify that it does not pull to the right. If vehicle tracks straight, return to customer. If vehicle pulls to the right, go to
step five (5).

5.

Replace and balance all four tires. Order tires from Goodyear stores using the product code number 113-298-422-02.

6.

Test drive vehicle a second time. During the final test drive, verify that the vehicle is tracking straight and that the steering wheel is still
centered.
