Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Description and Operation
Water Temperature Sensor (THW)
PURPOSE
The water temperature sensor measures engine temperature by sensing water temperature. The ECU uses this information for determining the
proper air/fuel mixture for all conditions.
LOCATION
The sensor is threaded into the water jacket at the front of the engine.
