Circuit Opening Relay Inspection

Checking Relay Continuity

- Remove relay.
- Check for continuity between terminal ST and E1.

Desired - Continuity

- Check for continuity between terminal IG and FC.

Desired - Continuity

- Check for continuity between terminal B and FP.

Desired - No continuity

- Replace relay if desired results are not achieved.

- Apply battery voltage across relay terminals ST and E1.
- Check for continuity between terminal B and FP.

Desired - Continuity

- Apply battery voltage across relay terminals IG and FC.
