Horn: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

With Manufacturer's Scan Tool

CHECK DTC

a. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
b. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
c. Turn the tester on.
d. Enter the following menus:

1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / BODY NO.5 / DTC INFO /
2. Techstream - Select: Body / Body No.5 / Trouble Codes /

e. Read the DTCs.

Without Scan Tool

LEXUS does not provide a procedure for Reading Trouble Codes Without Scan Tool.

With Manufacturer's Scan Tool

CLEAR DTC

a. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
b. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
c. Turn the tester on.
d. Enter the following menus:

1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / BODY No.5 / DTC INFO /
2. Techstream - Select: Body / Body No.5 / Trouble Codes /

e. Erase the DTCs.

Without Scan Tool

LEXUS does not provide a procedure for Clearing Trouble Codes Without Scan Tool.
