16. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR

a. Remove the bolt and sensor.

NOTE:
-

The rear speed sensor is easily damaged. When pulling out the rear speed sensor from the rear axle hub RH, do not use excessive force to
rotate and remove it.

Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip.

INSTALLATION

NOTE:  While the battery is connected, even if the engine switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or the door
courtesy switch turns on.Therefore during servicing of the brake system components, do not operate the brake pedal and open/ close the doors while the
battery is connected.

HINT:

The procedures listed are for the RH side.

Other than areas where instructions are provided, use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.

1. INSTALL REAR SPEED SENSOR RH

a. Install the sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf.cm, 75 in.lbf)

NOTE:

The rear speed sensor is easily damaged. When installing the rear speed sensor to the rear axle hub RH, do not use excessive force to rotate
and install it.

Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip.

2. INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
